An originating entity
If you are new to spiritualism or newly discovering a psychic or mediumistic or another soul ability, then it's time to learn about The Source, God, Spirit, the Divine, or… whatever. No matter what you call it, it is important to understand an origin of why you can do what you can do. It’s unavoidable, so here we go.
So, Sarah, what is… It?
I don’t know.
I don’t.
I’m not going to pretend to know either.
That’s my truth.
For now.

Okay, well, I’m not a master of this whole spiritual, esoteric subject. But, I can give you my truths, that is, what I have experienced and have grown comfortable knowing through ongoing tests, evaluations and evolution.
Quote from Lao-Tzu (AKA Laozi, AKA Lao-Tze), ancient Chinese philosopher. “Those who know do not speak (of it), those who speak (of it) do not know.”
My soul experiences with ‘the Source’
Knowing “it” doesn’t affect how I connect with spirit or how I live in the moment. Honestly, I don’t think we need to put too much attention on “it” because being harmonious with “it” is very natural. If you do things that keep your conscious happy, your body happy, your mind and spirit happy then, you are “in tune” with “it” and can focus on doing your purpose and enjoying your life.
Don’t worry if “it” seems like a mystery because, “it” will always be a mystery until you give “it” it’s identity. Then, the Source, God, the Divine, Spirit, Spaghetti, Billie Joe Armstrong…. “it'“, will have meaning, for you.
It’s a big deal, but really it’s not.
Here’s how other people talk about… it
I really don’t like names but, we’ll call “it” the Source from now on because, my brain will explode if I have to keep using quotes.
Okay, the Source is weird esoteric, theoretical, all-knowing, omnipotent, all encompassing, intelligence, grand designer.
Some say that Source is an infinite intelligence.
The Source is unseen, other worldly and life-giving.
It is a cosmic truth that holds, initiates and attracts energy that we pick up and sense.
Things happen "through Spirit" or the Source.
The source is beyond the known and observable realm .
What is God?
What is Buddha?
You see where I’m going with this? Not very definitive.
There is no physical evidence of the Source
But, what is important about the Source is your connection to it and the energy it provides.
I actually had to go to my little library of psychic/spiritual/ medium books to get a sense of what other people had to say about the Divine, God, the Source.
“The Source has a plan for you to fulfill and jobs for all of us to do.”
I am a Googler and couldn’t find any great information about it. But, my books came in handy.

These are literally all the books I own about psychic/mediumship/soul stuff and, really, The Four Purposes isn’t really about soul abilities, it’s more of a ‘self help’/motivational book but does touch on parallel spiritual stuff that Dan Millman has done with his other books.
Books are a luxury, nowadays, if you know what I mean.
Researching the Source’s basic information
Anyways, using these great books I was able to curate a little more information about how to explain the Source. Some of this goes into Spiritualist religion which is as close to nonreligious as I can get, but, frankly, all religion touches upon a lot of these aspects anyway and is even universal if you have no idea what religion is.
A being, an entity, matter, consciousness, intelligence, planner, beyond material, the highest consciousness.
When we work with the Source we are releasing it’s Divine Light into the world.
It is a source of miracles and hope.
It allows us to choose to live in harmony and wants us to trust in higher vibration.
We must raise our consciousness in order to be in touch with the Source.
It is believed that the Source created Natural Laws of the Universe, which include:
1) Law of Love
2) Law of the Mind
3) Law of Vibration
4) Law of Attraction
5) Law of Cause & Affect
6) Law of Balance
7) Law of Use
It is with these laws that we are able to work with the Source and raise consciousness.
The Source has a plan for you to fulfill and jobs for all of us to do.
My Truth… So Far
I feel kind of icky after that last section. It isn’t my place to tell anybody what the Source is.
What I do have is my own experience and what I’ve picked up along the way to add to this topic. You know, pieces of my own understandings of how things work.
I started writing this article with the mindset that I had nothing to contribute to this topic. As much as I feel this is a personal subject, like everything spiritual, and how I view things isn’t the end all be all of your experience, I have realized that my experiences are okay to share with the intention of just putting it out there, and nothing else.
For me there are principles that I am totally down with when it comes to the Source that I’ve assembled years prior to understanding my psychic medium skills.
Pre psychic medium awareness
The Source can not be institutionalized. It is all inclusive in the power it shares to everybody, equally.
The Source is accessible and a part of us all. We are all connected to it.
We have free will from Source
Additionally, I have learned things about Source after my realization of my soul abilities and because of my Spiritual Awakening
Post psychic medium awareness
Working with Source requires teamwork: give and take, listening and doing. For me right now, I meant to create a foundation of higher-conscious awareness for you, to help you find your inner power through your soul abilities as well as for myself.
Communicating with Source requires raising your consciousness (giving your focus/attention).
Nobody knows its full truth and everybody can't know its full truth. If we did, I surmise that we would evolve out the human body by that point. Uh oh, getting theoretical here! I’ll stop that, now.
Here’s the big one: Acknowledging the Source when it wants my attention (noticing and responding to synchronicities, premonitions, doing readings and sittings) and serving it (doing readings and sittings and creating these blogs, my vlogs and podcasts) has lead to a much more harmonious and happier life for me. I have less doubt and more confidence then ever before. I lead my life with less inner conflict now, because I feel like when I trust in it's cues and let it carry me or I build momentum for it to meet me half way, my path is less restricted. I work less, enjoy the ride and live a more peaceful life.
And here’s another big one: I understand that the Source may need me to change how I serve. Whatever it needs and however I need to do that is fine; I know I will be in good hands.
My favorite part of this whole thing is there is no right or wrong with Source. It is what we individually perceive it to fully be. Just like when I make my own song or create my own piece of artwork, nobody can tell me I’m wrong or that what I bring to the table isn’t right. Because, nobody else knows and they can’t make it for me. That’s my job.
In conclusion
Jeez, maybe I knew more than I thought but, still, my relationship with Source stays the same.
Attention to Source allows you to speculate on where information comes from and how it flows using your soul abilities and having a higher consciousness.
Source has a plan for each and every one of us, no matter how big or how small our role in this lifetime. And, it’s purpose for all of us to have us to perpetuate the evolving consciousness of the earth and practice impacting earth with kindness, caring and love.
I have a feeling you are already doing that in your own way. Keep doing that.
