Heading over to the subreddit of Mediums here. One person is noticing that grounding, stabilizing energy, is showing more vocalizing from spirit. I have a different viewpoint that might help understand what's happening.

Ever since I learned to ground myself, spirits around me have become more vocal.

For the first time a few weeks ago, I met another medium in person. She educated me on the importance of grounding techniques because I was basically walking around with a giant cloud of energy picked up from everywhere I went and everyone I talked to, dead or alive. Ever since I’ve learned to ground myself, cleanse my space, and set better boundaries, my connection with the spirit world is so much clearer. So much, that when it used to be only me that got chills (a way they like to emphasize things, say yes, etc), people around me get chills too. I just find this so fascinating. I had no idea I was suffocating my gift so much. I’m so excited to grow into everything I can do.
